Terms of Sale

1. Each Mac OS computer that will run the software requires a separately licensed copy of the software. Although we do allow owners to install the same license on both a desktop and a portable machine, only one machine may use that serial number at a time.

2. You must accept the terms of the Softpress-Freeway License Agreement, presented as part of the installation process.

3. All sales are final. Please use the Trial versions for evaluation.

Download Software

In order to use your downloaded software, you will need your serial number, which will be sent to the e-mail address you provide during your order. If you need your serial number re-sent to you in the future, it is also sent to this e-mail address, unless you have advised us of a change. If you do not receive an e-mail from us after placing your order, you may wish to check your "junk mail" or "spam" folder in case your confirmation has been incorrectly filed as unsolicited e-mail by your mail server or spam filter.

The manual for the software is included electronically in the download as an Acrobat PDF file. This file can be read with the free Adobe Reader or Apple Preview (part of Mac OS X).

Hard Copy Software

Hard copy versions of the software are sent to the address you designate as your shipping address during the purchase process. Every effort is made to send your software as quickly as possible, but in no case will Softpress be liable for addresses entered incorrectly, or third-party delivery service errors or difficulties.

Some of our hard copy products include a mixture of electronic and printed documentation, while others include electronic documentation only. In all cases, all documentation for the software is included on the installation disk as Acrobat PDF files. These files can be read with the free Adobe Reader or Apple Preview (part of Mac OS X).

We send download instructions to you when you purchase hard copy product so that you may get started using our software as quickly as possible (this does not apply to eBay sales).

In some cases, the version of the software available for download may be newer than the version provided in the package. In those cases, an updater will be available for download. Visit Softpress Updates for the latest versions and update information.

Free Upgrades to 5.5

Users who purchased Freeway Express or Pro after June 1st 2010 will receive a free upgrade to Freeway 5.5. Those who purchased Freeway outside of the Softpress store should contact sales with proof of purchase.
