Softpress: cold-storage: Using Transparent Images in Freeway


	Transparency

					If you want to import images with transparency into Freeway Express, you need to use 24-bit PNG images. Open the original image in Photoshop (or your favorite image editing application) and save a copy of the image as a 24-bit PNG with transparency. Import this image into Freeway.

	Freeway can import many image file types including Photoshop, Illustrator, PNG, JPEG and GIF. PNG and Photoshop files can have full 8-BIT transparency. Freeway will use this to composite the images together and build a web-optimised image.
