Styling Text in a Table

Although you can select text in individual table cells, if you select the whole table the formatting options aren't available.

To quickly format the table text do the following:

  1. Command-Click on one of the table cells to select then Command-A to select all.
  2. With all the table cells selected, apply an existing CSS style (if you have Freeway Pro) or format the text in the Inspector Palette.
You can style the text in the same way as you do with normal HTML and graphic text items (font, size, horizontal alignment, etc.). If you want to specify vertical alignment, however, you need to either select the cell or the text inside it then go to the Table Cell Settings tab of the Inspector and choose from Align Top, Align Center or Align Bottom by clicking on the appropriate Align button.
