Disabled menus in Freeway

If your menus are disabled in Freeway make sure you have installed Freeway correctly. To do this Command-click on the Freeway application icon in the Dock to take you to the folder the application is in. If the folder is the disk image mounted on your Desktop then quit Freeway and, with the disk image open, drag the application icon onto the Applications alias to the right of it within the disk image window itself. This will copy the Freeway application into your proper Applications folder on your hard disk.

Freeway needs to write some Preferences files when it's launched, so it needs to be on an unlocked disk. As a disk image is effectively a locked disk (very similar to a CD or DVD) then it won't run correctly.

If the application was installed correctly, then try switching to another application and back again. A quick way to do this is to press Command-Tab and then press it again. This will switch to the next application and then back to Freeway again.
