Creating a "Lightbox" effect in Freeway

There are two methods of creating a "lightbox" effect in Freeway (see a example here) - and both of these are third-party solutions which are on ActionsForge.

ScriptyLightbox allows you to use a single Lightbox window - for an image, an HTML item (with mixed graphics and text if required) and even has limited support for a QuickTime movie - but you cannot set up functionality  for multiple items in the same Lightbox (with "Next" and "Previous" links).

Slimbox - which is part of the MooTools suite of Actions - lets you set up a lightbox which supports multiple images (up to 11), but this can only be done with image files.

You can get ScriptyLightbox from here and Slimbox from here.

The MooTools author's site (at Weaver's Actions) has examples of Slimbox and other Actions in the suite, along with documentation.

If you have difficulty understanding the documentation presented with these third-party Actions, you might want to watch the commercial screencast called "Slimbox/Lightbox" at Dan Jasker's screencast store which runs through how to set up both methods.
