Startup problems in Snow Leopard
Some customers are reporting startup problems when running Freeway under Snow Leopard. If Freeway simply won't start at all in Snow Leopard then try the following:- Open Font Book (found in your Applications folder)
- Select All Fonts from the list on the left
- Check for any bad or duplicated fonts by going to Validate Fonts in the File menu
- Clear up any problems by removing any duplicated or bad fonts. If you have duplicates then you need to make sure you remove the user font, you will not be able to delete the System font through Font Book so try one, and then the other if the first was the System font - you may need to do this manually by selecting the font in the All Fonts list and using the Backspace key
Once you have no duplicates or bad fonts (run another validation to check), try opening Freeway again. If you still have problems then contact Softpress Support with details of what you are having problems with and what you have tried so far.
