Using a Vimeo video on your Freeway page
Using a video which is hosted on the Vimeo website on your Freeway page is very easy.
You have two options: embed the code supplied by the Vimeo web site or use a free Action for both Freeway Express and Pro.
You can download the Action directly from ActionsForge.com.
First you need to go to the Vimeo site and find the video you want to use. Move your mouse over the video window itself to display various options and click on the "Embed" button to display the "Embed this video" window. In here you will see a panel containing a bunch of code - click inside this panel and go to Edit>Select All then copy it to the pasteboard by going to Edit>Copy. Before leaving the embed window, look through the code and note down the pixel dimensions for object width and height (you will need them later).
Go to your Freeway page, go to Insert>Markup item, paste in the code you copied from the Vimeo site and click OK. This will place an HTML item on the page with <H> in the top left corner (which signifies that it's a markup item). With the item selected, enter the pixel dimensions you noted down earlier for Height and Width (not forgetting to type a Return or Tab after entering the details in the last field) to make the item the correct size on your page.
You won't be able to see a "live preview" in Freeway, but if you preview the site in a browser you should see it working.
Note that in Vimeo's "Embed this video" window you can choose custom sizes, colors, etc., by opening the "Customize size, color, and other options" panel. You need to make your choices in here first and then copy the code, so that the code you copy contains the choices you made.
