Importing images from iPhoto

Do you already use iPhoto as your photo organizer? You can now bring your iPhoto images straight into Freeway! iPhoto is a great photo manager, and it comes free on every Mac. With it, you can organize, keyword and create albums of your photos. Read more about iPhoto here.

Freeway 5 rewards your hard work by letting you select your images from the iPhoto albums you've already created. You don't have to leave Freeway or even have iPhoto running. Simply draw a graphic item and select the photo from the Import from iPhoto menu option, and your image will be brought into Freeway. As with any graphics, the images will be automatically resized and imported into your Freeway project, ready for publishing.

To import an image from your iPhoto library:

  1. Select a graphic item
  2. Choose Import From iPhoto from the File menu
  3. Select the album you wish to view from the list of albums on the left. This will display thumbnails of all the images in that library in the panel on the right
  4. Select the thumbnail of the image you wish to import and click OK (or double-click on the thumbnail)
