Need to find out who wrote your favorite Action or what version it is?
Most actions have a version number in the Actions palette. When you look at the actions parameters in the Actions palette you generally see some tiny numbers on the bottom right. Typically they say something like "1.02", "1.4", "2.5" or something like that. If you click on these numbers you should see some very short text about the action - generally this contains details of the Actions author should appear in a dialog.
The other way of finding authorship is to look in the action's file its self. Most actions are just text files - generally information about who has written it can be found amoungst the code in this file.
