Freeway 5.2 Release Notes
IMPORTANT: Note that some fixes described below refer to problems on
specific operating systems or unique configurations only, and are
unlikely to have adversely affected the user experience of the majority
of our users. Should you encounter unexpected behavior at any time,
please contact Softpress Support who will be able to advise further.
NEW FEATURES
- Apple's iPhone Simulator has been added as a possible browser to preview in
- Added the "tel:" protocol to the hyperlink dialog
- Added a preview in browser button to the tool-bar
- Added the user interface and meta tag to suppress iPhone's automatic recognition of all numbers as telephone numbers
- Added the ability to control the viewport on the iPhone
- Added the Google Maps iPhone Link and YouTube iPhone Link Actions
- Added the QT Reference Movie Action
- Added the iPhone Homescreen Icon Action
CRASHES & ERRORS
- Fixed a crash that could occur when opening a Freeway 3.5 file with "height can shrink" turned on
ACTIONS
- Corrected capitalization in the Google AdSense Action
- The Target Show Hide Layer Action no longer uses JavaScript libraries if the Fade effect is not used
- Changes to the text color in the Google AdSense for Search Action are now output correctly
- The Ticker Tape Action now validates correctly
- Fixed a problem with the Google Maps Action when using some European number formats
- Fixed a problem in CSS Menus that caused pages to be marked for publish unnecessarily
- Fixed
a problem that caused background images in CSS Menus not to be
displayed if Freeway was running in a localization other than English
- Submenus of CSS Menus applied to In-flow items now appear in front of other in-flow items
- Fixed a problem that prevented Flash movies from playing in Firefox 2 when Scriptaculous Actions were used on the same page
