| “ I officially use Dreamweaver at work, but I have always created much of the content on our work website (especially "hidden" pages, in lieu of an Extranet) with Freeway. We have new owners since a year back whose global, brain washed corporate IT department have forced us to go over to PCs.
However, when I want to do something quick and easy..and, well...just plain RIGHT, I crank up my clandestine Mac that I have hidden under my desk and fire up Freeway!

| “ My drive crashed and I had to rebuild my 1996 site from the old Net Objects for Mac (and a few others) under OS 9 which offered no support and previously quit the Mac platform. Being a novice I searched for the best available and found Softpress. I'm glad I did. From the initial Freeway Pro download, over a 24 hour learning curve period I had rebuilt my old site.
The manual I had ordered was extremely helpful and I can't wait for the newer one to be available as web creation is not what I do everyday.
Always being too busy I've now upgraded to the latest Freeway Pro 5 due to great faith in the product and finally redesigning my site from my previous innocence and having fun doing it.
Softpress has a great product for Mac users. Once you use it you will never use another program. They also make it easy by offering lots of available online support. Thanks Freeway! ” |

| “ I have just started using Freeway Pro. I had beem using Dreamweaver, CMS systems and other webpage writing software but have wished for a truly WYSIWYG software without knowing much coding (the bane of writing web pages) as they take TOO LONG TO WRITE.

I found Freeway on a cover disk and thought this was EXACTLY what I was looking for. As a long term Quark user I adapted immediately.

I had dabbled in other web building packages and found them ridiculously impossible to use with unhelpful manuals, whereas Freeway Pro's manuals are written for human beings not tech-heads. The level of support you get from Softpress puts other companies to shame and you realise that they are a dedicated and very friendly team, even to the extent when I was struggling to get something done, they custom adapted an Action for me, unsolicited. You try and get that from any other software company. Outstanding. That's like getting Adobe to write you a custom Plug-In for Photoshop or Illustrator.
With the fantastic FreewayTalk Forums, I have increased my knowledge hugely and there are guys (and ladies - one in particular) who read all the posts and offer their advice freely and help you to find a solution. They are a truly selfless bunch.

| “ What I know about code and creating a website would fit on the head of a pin. When our previous site, a complex monster of a site (built at great expense by someone else 5 years ago) with 2 searchable databases suddenly disappeared one day along with our web host and his dead servers, I was faced with figuring out how to do a brand new and improved site all on my own and in great haste.
It was with great delight that I discovered the existence of Freeway while on a google search for Mac friendly website software. I immediately downloaded the full feature trial, found it to be hugely similar to In Design in how it works, and I was able to create our new site in about 4 days and had very few problems with any of it from start to finish. My experimental site done with the trial program ended up being good enough to keep as the actual site we are using now.
I no longer have to worry about my site disappearing because it all resides on my Mac. I was really quite astounded to see everthing go so smoothly straight away. I can effortlessly update it at any time I choose. The ease of use of Freeway is not to be believed, and I pity those poor souls out there struggling with all the "other" web builder programs. After using the free trial, I was genuinely impressed with the ease of use and great results I could achieve without having to touch any html code.
