Softpress is a small team of highly dedicated individuals who love Macs, solving problems, and helping people.

Headquartered in England near Blenheim Palace in rural Oxfordshire, Softpress was founded in 1993 to address the emerging needs of creative professionals for cross-media authoring tools.

Freeway Pro and Freeway Express result from our ongoing efforts to identify and meet the real needs of web designers in today’s environment. Many people rely on these tools for their day-to-day business, so our customers opinions and requirements are paramount to us.

Since its inception, Freeway has won a Macworld “Eddy” award, a Macworld UK “Creative web product of the year” award, several MacUser awards, a Mac Observer “Editors' Choice” award, a MacFormat “Best in Class” award and a MacDirectory “iAward”

Softpress Systems is managed by Joe Billings (Managing Director) and Richard Logan (Chief Financial Officer and Chairman of the Board). They are ably assisted by Dr. Jeremy Hughes, Kevin Meaney, Simon Manning and Stewart Fellows (Engineers), Anna Henderson (QA), Keith Rigley (Technical Support, DTP), Katie Wagner (Technical Support, QA), Arthur Rigley (Technical Support), Linda Munro (Senior Sales Administrator), Gillian Betterton (Sales/Admin), and James Bairstow (Intern). Plus a cast of thousands!
