This Action allows you to have a "ticker-tape" sequence of messages on a Freeway Page.

Select the 'Ticker Tape' action from the Actions menu in the Tool palette then sketch the action on your page.

There are a few parameters to set for this action:

Char Speed - Interval between successive characters (in milliseconds)

Flip Speed - Interval between successive messages (in milliseconds)

Cursor - The cursor that appears in the ticker tape field.

Text Colour - The colour of the Ticker Tape text

Box Colour - The colour of the ticker tape item

Text 1.. Text 2.. - Enter the text strings that you would like to appear in the boxes. Place each message in a separate field.

You should note that if you use this feature it will only work on Browsers that support CSS styling of form items. This will work in browsers later than IE4 and Netscape 6.

That is more or less all there is to it. Once the page loads message will appear
'ticker-tape' style in this field.
