Set Window Status Information

This action lets you set the browser window status for graphic items and map areas on the Freeway page. When the mouse cursor moves over the image in the browser, the status bar will change according to the parameters specified.

Notice that the status bar at the bottom of the browser window changes.

This action is quite simple. Just apply it to the graphic or image map that you want the status to be set on. The action has a single field into which you enter the text that you wish to see in the status bar, or you can enter the corresponsing number from a list of special parameters:

[0] - The action will substitute the name of the page (within your Freeway document) that you link to. If there is no link or if that link is not to a page in the Freeway document then any reference to '[0]' will simply be removed.

[1] - This will display the text that appears within the item

[2] - If an image has been imported into the graphic item, the image filename will be shown.

[3] - If the item has Alt Text applied this will display in the status bar
