Flexible Image Information

Resize the browse window to see an example of the Flexible Image Action

To create a flexible image, you must create an HTML item and insert the graphic as an inline graphic as it is this the HTML item will resize relative to the page, and the image will resize relative to the HTML item.

Even though it will resize itself, the box that you draw will retain it's distance from the left and right sides of your freeway page, so if you draw the item in the middle of the page, then that is where it will stay.

Sketch an HTML Item on the page then. whilst selected, in the Export Panel Tab of the Inspector Palette, check the 'Width Can Grow' Option.

The graphic can be inserted as an inline item inside the HTML item (Insert > Graphic Item) or you can simply position a graphic over the HTML Item. If you choose to do the latter, make sure that the HTML Item completely surrounds the graphic item.

Select the graphic then choose the Flexible Image Action from the Item > Action menu.

There are two checkboxes that control the flexibility and two fields that allow you to enter a percentage width or height. The percentage will be the percentage of the HTML item that the graphic is inserted into. This is in relation to the width of the browser window.
