This example shows you how to create a link to a file that the viewer can click on to download. When you want to include file for download on your site you should either a) Create a free-standing action - select the 'Download File' Action from the Freeway Action popup on the Tools palette and then sketch out the Action.
Note: As this is a free standing action it will create a piece of text with a link on it and you will not be able to set the styling of the text (unless link styles are specified in the Inspector palette). You will also not be able to preface or suffix this link with any other text. b) Insert the action into a run of HTML text - select 'Download File' from the Insert > Action Item menu. This will insert the action directly into the text flow.
Select the action and open the Action palette to set the parameters:
Name - This is the piece of text that will appear with a link on it. It is set by default to "Download". If you want it to say something else then type in this alternative text.
