The 'Background Tiling +' action is similar to the Background Tiling action but has further options.

1. Using the Inspector palette, select the background image in the usual way.

2. Apply the Background Tiling action from the Page > Action menu.

Set the tiling preferences in the Action Palette:

Tile - There are four options:

• No - The image will appear once on the page in the top/left corner
• Yes - repeats the image on the page
• Horizontal - repeats the image horizontally only
• Vertical - repeats the image vertically only

Image - 'Fixed' will leave the image in the same position on the page. Switching to 'Scroll' will scroll the background image as the page scrolls.

You will only see the effect of this action on Preview.
